What’s the Difference Between Our Camps?”

Our Art & Fun Camps take place at Archibald’s Orchard & Winery and 1840 Farmhouse & Vineyard — offering a creative, relaxed setting focused on art projects, games, and outdoor fun. Our Art & Farm Camps at Pingle’s Farm Market and Haute Goat include everything from the Art & Fun experience plus unique farm-based activities, animal encounters, and additional amenities provided by these specialty locations. Because of the extra experiences, staffing, and venue costs, the Art & Farm Camps are priced slightly higher — but both options promise a summer full of creativity, laughter, and unforgettable memories!

JANET LANGE

CAMP DIRECTOR

Hi!  I’m Janet, sometimes known as ‘Camp Mom’.  For the past 21 years I have been running summer camps.  Time flies when you love what you do!

My goal every summer is to provide a safe and fun environment for both counsellors and children.  This starts with proper training and certification of our camp crew.   Special training includes First Aid and CPR, experience taking care of kids, and of course, knowing how to have a lot of fun!

I want to thank Knox’s Pumpkin Farm and 1840 Farmhouse & Vineyard for generously allowing us all to create such wonderful camp memories this summer!

Miranda

Senior counsellor

My name is Miranda, but you can call me by my camp name, Murphy! I love animals and art, as well as music, swimming, showing cows and snowboarding.  I enjoy science and spending time with friends and family.  I prefer the warm weather over the cold! I am super excited to be a camp counselor this summer and meet every camper and help give them the best camp experience possible!

I love camp counseling because I love meeting all the new campers and teaching them new skills as well as seeing them all interact with one another and find their own creativity in what they do! I can’t wait for a fun filled summer with all of you!

Bella

Senior counsellor

Hi! My name is Isabella, but you can call me Bella! I love Knox’s Pumpkin Farm and hanging out with the animals, and I’m sure you will too!  I also love horseback riding, swimming and snowboarding, along with art, reading, music and travelling!  My favourite colour is green, and I love the warm months when we can spend so much time outdoors, enjoying nature.  This summer will be so much fun since we get to spend it hanging out with the animals, playing fun games outside and best of all, creating art!  I’m so happy that you’ll be joining us!

Fiona

Junior counsellor

My name is Fiona,  I’ll be a junior counsellor this summer. I have 1 older brother, two bunnies, a guinea pig and two german shepherd dogs.  My hobbies include street bike racing, crafts, working out, Muay Thai and spending my time with friends.  I also really love to listen to music.  I have a job at an old fashioned general store called Tyrone Mills that sells famous apple cider donuts.  I’m currently in the 9th grade and I go to Holy Trinity Catholic High School.

My favourite subjects are chemistry in Science and Physical Education. I am really excited to be at camp this summer and have alot of fun with all the kids!

Anelyn

Hi everyone, I’m Jayla!  My camp name is Butter and I’ll be working as a junior counsellor this summer! I like to think I’m fun and have an understanding for kids preferences, as well as a kind personality. I adore working and helping children. I love meeting new people, eating new foods and exploring different kinds of pretty much everything.

Two of my hobbies are drawing and making sure I’ve watched every Disney movie out there! I’m so happy to meet all the new faces I haven’t seen before this summer and I’m so excitied to meet you all
